| This guide was written for version 3.0 of the plugin so some slight differences might be experienced by people using other versions of the plugin. In overall, version 3.0 is released to support Confluence version 4. It includes a migrator to support previous versions of data to be upgraded to Confluence 4.0.

Installing/Upgrading the Plugin
- Log in as an administrator.
- Open the Browse menu and choose Confluence Admin
- Click the Plugin Repository link on the sidebar.
- Select the 'CustomWare Salesforce.com Confluence Plugin' and click 'install'
- If you are upgrading from version 1.x, please uninstall the previous version before installing the new plugin
Configuring the Plugin
- Log in as an administrator.
- Open the Browse menu and choose Confluence Admin
- Configure the plugin by clicking on the 'Salesforce.com Configuration' link on the Configuration menu (Figure 1 - A)

- Fill out all of the fields in the form as follows:
Field Description Login (Figure 1 - B) The SalesForce.com username Password (Figure 1 - C) The SalesForce.com password Confirm (Figure 1 - D) Re-enter your password to confirm URL Prefix (Figure 1 - E) The URL to the SalesForce.com server, if you do not know what this should be, please set this to: "https://ap1.salesforce.com/" (as shown in Figure 1) Salesforce.com URL (Figure 1 - F) The URL of the SalesForce.com API server (please click the "Set to Default URL" link next to this field to choose the default, normally you would not need to change this from the default value unless absolutely necessary 
IMPORTANT
You need to obtain a 'Security Token' from your Salesforce.com account and append this to your password. To obtain the token, go to your Salesforce account -> Setup -> My Personal Information -> Reset Security Token. Once you have clicked "Reset Security Token" button on that page, a token will be sent to the email you registered with. - Click the Save (Figure 1 - G) button to save your configurations
- If successful, you will be displayed with a "Connection OK" message (Figure 1 - H)
- If unsuccessful, an error message will be shown to you instead of the "Connection OK" message, please re-check your configuration settings if this occurs
- Congratulations, your plugin is now installed and configured, please check out the plugin homepage for more information on how to use this plugin
Installing Your License
- Log in as an administrator.
- Open the Browse menu and choose Confluence Admin
- Go to the Salesforce.com Configuration page by clicking on the 'Salesforce.com Configuration' link in the Configuration menu
- Click on the 'View license details' link at the top of the page (Figure 1 - I) to go to the License configuration page (Figure 2)

- Click on the 'Browse...' button (Figure 2 - A)

- A new window should appear (Figure 3), in this window:
- Find your license key file (Figure 3 - A), click on it to choose it
- Then click on the 'Open' (Figure 3 - B) button to confirm your choice
- Finally, click the 'Upload' (Figure 2 - B) button to upload your license

- Congratulations, your license should be installed, you will see an updated screen (Figure 4) which displays your license information (Figure 4 - A)
