Challenge
- Senior managers and team leaders required a JIRA solution that would allow real time reporting on the following:
- Status of the account team’s work in progress at any point in time
- High level summary capturing critical information, issues and alarms
- In order for reports to be constantly up to date the JIRA dashboard needed to be linked into the toolsets staff used in their daily work

- Customised JIRA to allow the creation of specific reports:
- Customisable and integrated into user defined dashboards
- Graphing plug-in which provided a range of graph types for tabular information
- Provided an executive dashboard of standard reports & graphs that captured the status of work under the account team’s responsibility
- Developed a custom JIRA service that automatically extracted monthly time & effort spent on projects and populated JIRA custom fields with the data
- Standardised report formats, parameter usages, traffic lights and naming conversations within JIRA
