Challenge
- New Aspects of Software required the ability to search for issues in JIRA based on the issue resolved date
- There was a need to automate the process of assigning issues back to specific JIRA users who selected the ‘More Info Needed’ workflow
- Software engineers, support staff and marketing staff required a way to view the company product teams progress

Solution
- Implemented an additional search filter and ‘resolved date’ custom field which allowed users to search for issues based on relative resolved dates
- Customised the ‘Provide Information’ workflow to enable automated assigning of issues back to users who selected the ‘More Info Needed’ workflow
- Created a JIRA report plug-in that captured the information needed on the company’s product teams:
- Reports were customisable based on specified user input
- Reports were able to be displayed in a variety of views
