Our client is one of New Zealand’s largest government departments and is responsible for a government vote of over $16 billion. The department provides support to more than one million New Zealanders.

Challenge

  • Our client required a suitable platform that would allow their employees to collate and share non-work related information

Solution

  • Implemented Confluence as a collaborative platform within the organisation
  • Integrated Confluence with our clients existing infrastructure which included:
    • Weblogic application server
    • Oracle database server
  • Customised Confluence to allow employees to specify page expiry dates

Result

  • Onsite consulting work conducted
  • Improvements in our client’s work environment were attributed to the increased social interaction among the organisation’s 8000 staff
  • Ongoing support provided
