uTest Connector Plugin is one of the plugin that is bundled in JIRA OnDemand. Check Atlassian OnDemand Policy here.
Bundle means that the plugin is preinstalled. Therefore, administrators do not have to install it on JIRA OnDemand.
Plugin Installation
In JIRA OnDemand, installation is not required since the plugin is bundled.
Upgrading the plugin
It is stated in Atlassian OnDemand policy that any installation and upgrade can only be done by Atlassian. Therefore, plugins update should occur in parallel of OnDemand releases. You can check JIRA version in OnDemand here
All customer should able to enjoy using latest version of JIRA and uTest Connector Plugin in once. This is because JIRA Release in OnDemand will happen for all JIRA.
Plugin Configuration
Although it is installed, JIRA administrator can configure the plugin accordingly. The steps in configuration are almost the same as in JIRA standalone, yet, there are few differences in navigation.
Steps to navigate Connector in JIRA OnDemand:
- Login as Administrator
- Click on administrator username and then click on the Administration link
- Click on Issues tab then scroll down, you will see Cloud Connector
- Click on Cloud Connector and the rest are the same as standalone
